Dr. Temeka L. Johnson was born and raised in southwest Georgia. She graduated from Bainbridge High School with a 4.0 GPA and was voted “Most Likely to Succeed” by her senior class.

She received her BS degree in Biology from Albany State College in Albany, GA. There, she graduated Magna Cum Laude and went on to receive her M.D. degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Johnson completed her OB-GYN residency at Wayne State University/Hutzel Women’s Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. During residency, she received awards for best student educator. She resides in Brandon, MS with her husband Terance and their two children, Kamryn and Isaiah. She is a Christian and proudly testifies to the grace and mercy of her savior, Jesus Christ.

Dr. Johnson is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She enjoys public speaking and often attends speaking engagements where she educates young girls and women of all ages about their bodies; sexual health and wellness; and health care.
