CHRISTOPHER DEAN ‘08 is a senior cross-asset trader at Senator Investment Group, a New York based event-driven investment firm. Prior to joining Senator in 2012, Chris was an Equity Index Derivatives trader at Citigroup where he primarily focused on pricing transactions and managing risk in S&P listed and OTC products. During his tenure at Citi, Mr. Dean also managed risk pertaining to Asset Backed Securities, Equity Synthetic Products and Exchange Traded Funds.
Chris graduated with a B.S in Economics with a concentration in Real Estate from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and received his CFA charter in 2016. He is a member of the Council of Urban Professionals, an organization which promotes racial, ethnic and gender parity at executive levels in business and government and is an active member of the St. Jude Wall Street’s Taste of New York Committee, a senior group of industry professionals that raises funds for cancer research and treatment. Chris was a Jackie Robinson Foundation/Goldman Sachs Scholar throughout his undergraduate years and served as the president of the JRF Alumni Association from 2018 to 2020.
