Dr. Simone Rahotep serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships & Community Engagement for UCLA Enrollment Management. Her office develops strategic relationships with community partners that increase the pipeline of talented students choosing UCLA, especially those from underserved communities.
Dr. Rahotep has over 13 years of service to UCLA with a focus on issues of access, equity and retention. Prior to Enrollment Management, she served as the Assistant Director of the UCLA Community Programs Office, where she also advised the Campus Retention Committee.
Dr. Rahotep earned her B.S. in Sociology and African American Studies from UCLA, her M.S. in Community Counseling from Georgia State University, and her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University.
