Become a JRF scholar – now accepting applications

What does a member of the U.S. Congress, an NFL coach, and the director of a crime lab have in common?
They are all alumni of the Jackie Robinson Foundation’s (JRF) Scholarship Program, and now is the chance to apply to be a part of this incredible network of future global leaders. JRF’s Scholarship Program provides college scholarships and a host of resources to help talented young leaders self-actualize professionally and personally and encourage them to make a difference in their communities.

What does it take to be a JRF Scholar?
Qualified applicants are highly motivated high school seniors with records of academic excellence, community engagement, and leadership.

JRF Scholars receive college scholarship grants of up to $35,000 over four years. In addition to generous financial support, Scholars benefit from a comprehensive, four-year program that includes 1:1 mentorship, career discernment strategies leadership and practical life skills training, and internship and job placement.

Interested applicants must apply using JRF’s online application and will need to submit:

  • High school transcripts
  • One letter of recommendation
  • A completed CSS Profile

The application and its required components are due by January 9, 2025. JRF Scholarship recipients will be announced by June 1, 2025.
