Novelist, essayist and cultural critic Touré shared his unique perspective on national politics, race and the fiscal cliff at a special event on December 6th at JRF headquarters. The co-host of MSNBC’s “The Cycle”, with his pull-no-punches comments, addressed the audience of close to 75 talented young leaders from various industries. The event was part of JRF’s continuing efforts to engage a broader community in both its programming and fundraising goals. Sponsored by JRF’s newly-formed young professionals support group that includes JRF alumni in the New York City area, the event was first in a series that will feature guest “visionaries” who will promote dialogue around topical subjects.
