The Los Angeles office of the Jackie Robinson Foundation, JRF’s first regional office outside of New York, opened in October 2004 and formed an Advisory Committee of business, sports, entertainment and civic leaders. The Western Regional Advisory Committee assists in increasing local and regional support for the Foundation on the west coast by providing consultation to the staff, supporting JRF events, participating with local Scholars and alumni, and acting as ambassadors for the Los Angeles office with the public.
